Until recently you could phone Air Berlin’s Stansted Airport office on their UK contact number for ticket enquiries, customer service advice about your air miles and to make a compensation claim for delayed flights or lost baggage. But they are now out of business. The company has ceased trading.
Air Berlin was the second-largest airline in Germany and one of the top-ten largest across Europe. A proud member of the Oneworld alliance, Air Berlin passengers could share airmiles across other popular airliners such as British Airways, American Airlines and Qantas.
Travellers could fly to 171 destinations across the globe with Air Berlin. The airline served a number of holiday and leisure destinations in the Mediterranean, North Africa and the Canary Islands as well as the United States, the Caribbean and South East Asia. This complemented its array of European destinations for business travellers.
