The UK subsidiary, Axis Bank UK Limited, commenced banking operations on July 11, 2013. The bank received approval from the UK regulators on April 19, 2013, allowing it to conduct the entire spectrum of banking business, including making loans and advances, taking deposits, and making investments. The bank has reached out to a massive cross-section of patrons with an array of products and services suited for SME, large and mid-corporates, agriculture, and retail businesses.
